I write about conservation, ecology, and environmental policy. In past positions I have written on ethics, corruption, and American and international politics. I am a regular contributor to Northern Woodlands Magazine, and my articles and commentaries have appeared in Boston Public Radio's (WBUR) Cognoscenti, CNN, Slate, Lawfare, Just Security, various Brookings Institution media, and other publications. I am the co-author of a chapter on executive authority and congressional oversight in the 2022 Brookings Institution Press book How to Restore Ethics, the Rule of Law, and Democracy. My work has been cited in scholarly publications and by news organizations including CNN, Axios, The Christian Science Monitor, Pluribus News, while my analysis has been referenced in books, court briefings, and dissertations.

My short fiction has been published in Euphony Journal, Inscape Magazine, Inlandia Literary Journal, Ginosko Literary Journal, Action Spectacle, and elsewhere.
